Such intense colour. I’ve been looking for these all over wordpress, love it.
π saw this tree on the way towards the children’s farm and on the way back it still looked amazing! And these intense reds.. they’re great indeed!
I’ve been wondering for a while if there’s any reason the tree becomes so incredibly red. Like an evolutionary or biological reason. I can’t come up with one. It’s beauty just for it’s beauty.
Interesting question indeed Harry.. google came up with this blog.. might be something for you to further explore π
Haha, thanks Pieter, I’ll have a read π Keep up the photography, I’ll be back to check it out.
Thanx! I’ll come and visit your blog too π
We had maple trees that were a brilliant red like that one, back home where I grew up. Here they turn from green to brown, then fall to the ground.
That must have been a wonderful sight Karen π
And green and brown can be nice too, though is different from the deep red..
I love the deep red. Upstate New York is a sea of vibrant color at this time of year, and the ground covered with a myriad of colors, which crunch underfoot – well, maybe not my feet, as my feet no longer shuffle through the bright, crispy foliage that lies upon the ground.
That sounds amazing Karen! Here there aren’t many trees which color this red, but some people have these trees in their gardens..
Image a whole forest of them.. wow π
