Such a majestic sight, seeing these Brolga’s fly in the sky.. seen these in the northern part of Queensland back in 2010. Converted this to black & white for the special look

Turning night into day

A friendly person on another website asked me to post a B&W image without the vignette you see on the first image. So i thought it would be fun to show the original image in color too as it shows the difference between the 3. A difference of day and night πŸ™‚

ps. i’ll be off for a few days. Hope to return with nice pictures

All the way down to the basin of the Wallaman Falls, the highest single drop waterfall in Australia. The area is filled with beautiful pristine rain forests and has a great natural camping ground. Really enjoyed our time there back in 2010. And this one will certainly be featured in the photobook. I actually made the first selection for the book. So finally it’s underway πŸ˜€

Nah.. just played a bit with photos from the Opera House in Sydney.. but the result does remind me of Vader..

And let’s be a little more true to the movie:

Yes! I’m working on the photobook.. in the mind that is lol.. i’m getting all ready to open all them different folders and copying the best images…
And in the mean time i’ve also been thinking about creating a watermark. Does any of you know how to make a watermark out of an image? I would love to use this image as it reminds me of a beautiful holiday in Australia back in 2010.. good thing to have sweet memories attached to all my photographs lol

Laughing Matters

Kookaburra

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Laughter reaches my ear as i’m unable to locate the source
A lovely eerie voice screeches my brain
Rattling with joy the sound pitch goes up
Then i realize i’m in the land of the Auzzies
Home of the ever cheerful laughing bird
Looking up i spot the joyful trickster
One more laughter and then he’s off
Leaving me in bewilderment
But now armed with a big wide smile
