This time right on time for the coming Monochrome Madness at Leanne Cole’s site. Choose an image i took this weekend from the Jacobus Church in the centre of the town where i live. This part of the town is very pretty with old houses, a lovely park in the front and the church towering the landscape.
Had a bit of photoshop fun this afternoon while editing some of the shots i took yesterday of the skyline of my hometown. At first i was trying to make the sky a little less blue but after a while i found myself playing around with the trees and the grass. Used Nik Color Efex Pro to create this. It really is a lovely program and it’s freely available!
Wish you all a lovely weekend
The Milky Way Express as seen from a different angle
Sunset in the rural area surrounding my hometown from almost 2 years ago. Never got to the point of editing this photograph, but the result is actually quite nice i think.
Why stay straight if you can dance in the light
Just let your branches grow with delight
Make a turn to the left, a curve to the right
Why not grow straight to the other side?
