Found this digital painting while i was looking through the archive. It’s an edited image of the ‘Bergkerk’ (Mountain Church) in Deventer. But as we don’t know real mountains in the Netherlands, i’ve dubbed this the Church on the Hill 🙂

A friendly person on another website asked me to post a B&W image without the vignette you see on the first image. So i thought it would be fun to show the original image in color too as it shows the difference between the 3. A difference of day and night 🙂

The Haringvlietdam connects the island of Voorne-Putten with the island of Goerree-Overflakkee and is part of the Delta works which were build after the flood of ’53. It’s a big dam located in the south west of the Netherlands. Impressive structure and we got treated with a typically dutch cloud landscape
