Posted a photo of the same spot a few months ago, but that one was with long exposure. This time, ‘only’ 1/80 shuttertime 🙂 Plitvice is such an amazing place.. really wonderful colors and streaming water and waterfalls everywhere!!
All the way down to the basin of the Wallaman Falls, the highest single drop waterfall in Australia. The area is filled with beautiful pristine rain forests and has a great natural camping ground. Really enjoyed our time there back in 2010. And this one will certainly be featured in the photobook. I actually made the first selection for the book. So finally it’s underway 😀
Bath is a lovely city in the south west of the United Kingdom. It’s got its own Ponte Vecchio. At this bridge there is this cascade of artificial waterfalls which looks pretty nice. Played a bit with the perspective, to give it a personal touch as it reminded me of a finger.
Wish you all a happy Easter
Tried a bit more extreme edit of this picture. Btw, thats me with the camera in the picture 😉 My father took this picture and i really like it. But to make something special out of it i enhanced it according to what i think suits this picture. Very personal, but still i hope you like it!
Wish you a wonderful weekend !
This is a photo from Plitvice again, with lot’s of small waterfalls. Very cool to see and tried to make something out of it. The water actually has such a color, though i used two photos to create this shot. I’ll upload one of a still lake tomorrow, so you can see the color and clarity of the water 🙂
Hope you like this painting! Used Photomatix and Photoshop Elements to create this shot
Another photo of Plitvice Lakes National Park from Croatia. I found it very cool to see a waterfall in the middle of the forest. Most of the waterfalls are standing out by themselves, but this one was a bit hidden. Still hard to miss, but more integrated into its surroundings. Couldn’t cut down the trees (and if i could, i wouldn’t lol), so i left them in frame.
If you live in Europe, or get the change to go.. Croatia is a great place to visit! Not to expensive and a lot of wonderful nature!
