This time right on time for the coming Monochrome Madness at Leanne Cole’s site. Choose an image i took this weekend from the Jacobus Church in the centre of the town where i live. This part of the town is very pretty with old houses, a lovely park in the front and the church towering the landscape.

Mondriaan kijkt over Winterswijk

A famous Dutch painter, Piet Mondriaan, used to live and paint in my hometown Winterswijk. At one spot they’ve put this work of art, where it creates a viewing window over the skyline which Mondriaan painted some 100 years ago. I went there some time ago during sunset and captured this image.

A HDR edit of a sunset at the little town where we stayed for 3 days. Close to the city of Zadar, Petrcane is a lovely little town with beautiful narrow streets, lovely green gardens and nice houses. This was the view of the balcony of our temporary home at sunset!

A photograph of a nice house somewhere around the city i live. Came across it today when i saw the reflection in the water. I decided to come back later, since there were some people standing right at the spot. Had a bit of a bad experience in the recent past, so i went on to stroll. Came back later to find the spot all to myself. So i took the opportunity to take a few shots and this is one of them. It’s a HDR, but i hope you don’t notice that lol

Click one time for a good image, the photograph isnt blurred actually 😉

Today i was riding home when i noticed the moon almost full above our town’s city hall.. so i decided to try a HDR picture. I’m still working on finding out how it actually works, but to me it looks pretty cool for a starter.. i don’t think it will be my thing completely, but it’s nice to try something new though 🙂

let me know what you think, what software u use and any tips are welcome 🙂
Have a great (photographing) weekend!
