Have been quite busy the last few days. But found a bit of time tonight to share this image of last weekend with you.

14: Nature’s Sonnet

Life of a Tree

As a tree admires her beauty by looking into her own reflection
Water flows gently beneath and carries along her mirror image
Birds singing from the canopy come down to see the spectacle
A moment in time connects the tree to her own past lifetime
Once she stood firmly and proud on the banks of the forest creek
She was a home and shelter to many animals who befriended her
Her roots went all the way down deep below the water level
The crown on her head was majestic full of the greenest leaves
Years went by as she grew and grew with many seasons passing
She saw humans dramatically change the landscape around her
But the forest was left untouched and remained a peaceful sanctuary
With her birth ground safe she started giving in to gravity
Letting go of her connection to both the air and the ground below
Her the faithful task was to become a bridge between life and death

7: Vulnerable

With eyes wide open looking into the world
I can feel depths i have never felt before
Emotional states of being come and go
The variety of feelings seems never ending

Pain, joy, sadness and laughter
All blended together in the stomach
The head is full of profound thoughts
While it tries to think no thoughts at all

How can i bare all of life’s bombarding
The senses in continuous overdrive
To keep up with this exhausting rhythm
Though i never felt his much aliveness

As the cocoon slowly breaks and opens up
Life touches and tickles in many ways
This new found sensitivity is very special
It just requires time to learn how to play

1: You – an ode to Nature

Touched by the immensity of you. Even though i can hear the traffic in the distance, in here there is only you.
You whisper so softly in my ears. Your sweet melodies are composed of the finest tunes.
Blackbirds chatter as a Robin sets the stage for an impressive solo. The symphony is intriguing.
You just leave me speechless time after time. Just being here with you is enough.
In here everything can be. Everything i wanted to say has lost its importance.
Insects dance in the late sunlight, while the water calmly follows the stream.
In your green arms i can finally rest. Ever so gently, the night settles in.

The Traveler

The Traveler

Never worries about the time
Unaware of the path traveled
Just continuing onward
The journey happens as you slide
Each moment uniquely yours
Ready to be shared with the world
When you get back home safe

So why not bring your house with you?

A Matter of Space and Time

Space, time and matter are connected in a triangular way, but in the end its the connection between space and time, matter and space.

What we see as space is actually matter.
What we see as time is actually space.

Space gives us the possibility to experience matter. Without room for something, we would not be able to feel something as an object – since we know matter is mostly empty space. Space and matter are the positive and negative side of a magnetic force.

Time seems to be giving matter the opportunity to change. But time in itself is a construct, a creation by man. Space however can interact with matter. Space is matter’s negative, so time can be equalled to space. There is only this one instant in which everything happens. It is up to us, to learn to let go of the need for control of the moment. We want to control and guide our experience so bad, because we feel disconnected from it. We see the outside world as something we have to fight with. But in reality we are one side of a magnetic force, the other side being everything you experience as being outside of yourself. That outside is just as much a part of you as your body (matter) is. If we realize that every thing we experience, is allready the experience we’ve wanted to experience, there is no more need for changing the situation (experience). As we allow the experience to happen, we realize that in our body we as matter can connect with true space-time. This is the yin yang, the body (matter) experience in holy union with the mental (spacial). We create the experience always, every moment.

And if we can apply this to ourselves, the need for an I or identity disappears as we realize that we are all we’re experiencing. Everybody is all (space) and at the same time, everybody is singular (matter). All and nothing at the same time. But unless you let go of your pushing against life, life can’t pull you in. What if you’re to stop pushing your magnet towards life and instead let life pull you with its force?
