I’ve been quite busy lately, so not much time to blog. But today found some time to have a little bit of fun with a few images. And learned a cool new trick too 🙂

18: Flower of Compassion

Flower of Compassion

Oh flower of the heart
Shine your light over us
Open up and show your beauty
The guiding force

You know what it is like
To be vulnerable
Naked and alone
You know there is no need
To be afraid of our tears

You grow so easily
As you are inherent within us
On the good soil of pure intent
Our wish for all to be happy
Stems from your seeds

Oh flower of compassion
Love is your guiding light
Teach us to be human
Help us to accept
The basic uncertainty of life

This poem was inspired by the documentary Crazy Wisdom (2011) about the late Tibetan Buddhist Master Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Rinpoche taught people how to become warriors of Shambhala, how to become genuine human beings. A beautiful and encouraging message worth contemplating.

Dunvegan IMG_9958 IMG_9958-2

Edited a couple of pictures from Scotland, as i was inspired by another person who posted some amazing photographs. Really tried to focus on details within existing images. The first one of the Dunvegan Castle is the total image, the other 2 are cut-outs from different images. Fun to look at photos in this way, as you create entirely different scenery 🙂

Tried a bit more extreme edit of this picture. Btw, thats me with the camera in the picture 😉 My father took this picture and i really like it. But to make something special out of it i enhanced it according to what i think suits this picture. Very personal, but still i hope you like it!

Wish you a wonderful weekend !

Knight of Edinburgh

Knight of Edinburgh

As there is a castle in Edinburgh, you also need knights to defend it. So they placed two statues at the gate. This is one of them, i’ve converted the image to black and white for a little more drama 🙂

Oh and i’m thinking about picking up a bit of writing too. To be continued!
