Posted a photo of the same spot a few months ago, but that one was with long exposure. This time, ‘only’ 1/80 shuttertime 🙂 Plitvice is such an amazing place.. really wonderful colors and streaming water and waterfalls everywhere!!
All the way down to the basin of the Wallaman Falls, the highest single drop waterfall in Australia. The area is filled with beautiful pristine rain forests and has a great natural camping ground. Really enjoyed our time there back in 2010. And this one will certainly be featured in the photobook. I actually made the first selection for the book. So finally it’s underway 😀
Plitvice is an amazing natural park in Croatia. Full of spectacular waterfalls and pristine water, it is a delight to walk through even if you have to share it with many thousand others 🙂
The park contains lots of well maintained pathways such as the boardwalk you can see here. The light shines through the trees and penetrates the water to reveal the colors hidden up until then. What a marvel to behold 🙂
I just arrived back from Croatia. Such a marvellous country with beautiful nature and old cities. This is a first photo i’d like to share, from the very famous and pristine Plitvice lakes. A complex of lakes are connected through waterfalls. The water is very clear and it’s full of fish. Absolutely amazing to be there, though it was a bit difficult to use the tripod as the boardwalks were crowded with people. Which is not too crazy, as more people see and hopefully for a long time will see the natural beauty of this place.
