Had a bit of photoshop fun this afternoon while editing some of the shots i took yesterday of the skyline of my hometown. At first i was trying to make the sky a little less blue but after a while i found myself playing around with the trees and the grass. Used Nik Color Efex Pro to create this. It really is a lovely program and it’s freely available!

Wish you all a lovely weekend

Another week, another entry for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness.
This time the beautiful landscape at Glenfinnan in Scotland

The Autumnal

The air is pregnant with a colorful vibe
Hibernating and emerging go side by side
The trees paint everything in bright colors
As they’re busy shedding their leavy skin
Meanwhile earth is filled with infinite veins
Invisible threads form a neural network
Leaves provide the power which it drains
On ground level many mushrooms thrive
Everything is recycled in the circle of life

Sneak Peak

Soon the new theme of Monochrome Madness will go live on the site of Leanne Cole (http://leannecole.com.au/). The theme is City and as i was searching for an image i looked up the collection of photos taken in Croatia and came up with this one. The city of Split as seen from this pathway which leads to the botanical gardens of Split.

The day after is always a bit foggy

Took this image (2 photographs stitched) the day after a good friend of mine got married at a stunning location at the edge of the Veluwe, the biggest natural land area in the Netherlands. It was a tiny bit foggy that morning lol

Glastonbury Tor

Glastonbury Tor klein

The famous Glastonbury Hill with the Tower (Tor) on top of it. As i understand from a reader of this blog, this tower is featured in the Mists of Avalon. Have the book ready to read. Perhaps i should give it a try 🙂
