1: You – an ode to Nature

Touched by the immensity of you. Even though i can hear the traffic in the distance, in here there is only you.
You whisper so softly in my ears. Your sweet melodies are composed of the finest tunes.
Blackbirds chatter as a Robin sets the stage for an impressive solo. The symphony is intriguing.
You just leave me speechless time after time. Just being here with you is enough.
In here everything can be. Everything i wanted to say has lost its importance.
Insects dance in the late sunlight, while the water calmly follows the stream.
In your green arms i can finally rest. Ever so gently, the night settles in.

Turning night into day

A friendly person on another website asked me to post a B&W image without the vignette you see on the first image. So i thought it would be fun to show the original image in color too as it shows the difference between the 3. A difference of day and night 🙂

ps. i’ll be off for a few days. Hope to return with nice pictures

As i gaze into the starry night
Three Kings bring wonder and delight
The light shines far away from here
Yet it feels like you’re always near
Whenever i look up into the night sky
Your signature is the first to catch my eye
Can’t explain this striking familiarity
Orion simply pulls me in like gravity

Yes! I’m working on the photobook.. in the mind that is lol.. i’m getting all ready to open all them different folders and copying the best images…
And in the mean time i’ve also been thinking about creating a watermark. Does any of you know how to make a watermark out of an image? I would love to use this image as it reminds me of a beautiful holiday in Australia back in 2010.. good thing to have sweet memories attached to all my photographs lol

a.ka. the Milky Way! Our very home, as seen from the hills in southern France. This is an image composed of 5 photos. The trees you can see in the top are actually 180 degrees from the tree in the bottom part. So you’ll have to think/make the curve yourself 🙂
