As i was strolling through the photo collection of our 2013 trip to Scotland i found out that my dad has much more an eye for the street(s) than i do. This is one such example. Beautiful colored houses, and a lovely street in general. Great to see his pictures too, since he took a lot of nice photographs very much worth sharing. To be continued?!
Touched by the immensity of you. Even though i can hear the traffic in the distance, in here there is only you.
You whisper so softly in my ears. Your sweet melodies are composed of the finest tunes.
Blackbirds chatter as a Robin sets the stage for an impressive solo. The symphony is intriguing.
You just leave me speechless time after time. Just being here with you is enough.
In here everything can be. Everything i wanted to say has lost its importance.
Insects dance in the late sunlight, while the water calmly follows the stream.
In your green arms i can finally rest. Ever so gently, the night settles in.
hello ladies and gentlemen,
it’s quite incredible to see so many people coming to this blog again and again. Could not have imagined that 4 years ago when i started blogging 🙂
But i also remember that there is this other hobby of mine, which i have not given too much attention lately: writing
As somebody said me a few days ago: just start with it, otherwise it won’t happen. And i know he’s right. So i like to give a bit of an outline of this new project for you guys but also for myself.
Long have i felt that words and images go perfectly together. Whether it’s a poem or a few lines of text, it really can create a connection with what meets the eye. So i want to engage in exactly this. It will be challenging for me, cause i know that i only write when i am truly inspired. But I’m sure that once i’ve started, everything will work out just fine.
I haven’t decided yet whether it will be a weekly or a daily thing, but i’m just going to start anyway 🙂
Please feel free to leave any comment, thoughts, critics, feedback. And please enjoy 🙂
ps. Day 1 is coming up!
Had fun with the smartphone.. i see tons of new possibilities focusing on a macro level.. patterns everywhere 🙂
Here is a gallery with a few macroscapes
Spotted and photographed this female European pied flycatcher at the childrens farm. Lovely little bird! Also spotted the male bird, but the photographs didn’t work out that well 🙂
ps. thanks to Laura Macky (http://www.lauramacky.com & https://lauramacky.wordpress.com/) for the theme inspiration. I wasn’t happy with not seeing images if i didn’t choose a featured image and everything double when i did choose an image. So now a new theme, the Yoko theme 😀
Thanks to my parents i now have a new lens in my collection. I don’t know yet which lens it is. It is an analog lens which doesn’t exactly fit to the Canon Eos 400D. But it is a bit smaller, so i can still use it. i just put it in front of the mirror and make images. It has a macro function which im already in love with after just a few shots! Bokehlicious and such sharpness!
So now im trying to find out if there is an extension or anything which i can use to connect this lens to the Canon. So far no luck, but im sure there is something out there. And otherwise i’ll just use my own little way. Bit unhandy, but at least i can use the lens 🙂
Like to share these 2 images i made today of frost on the Hydrangea. Beautiful sight with the light touching parts of the leaves covered in frost.
Today i was riding home when i noticed the moon almost full above our town’s city hall.. so i decided to try a HDR picture. I’m still working on finding out how it actually works, but to me it looks pretty cool for a starter.. i don’t think it will be my thing completely, but it’s nice to try something new though 🙂
let me know what you think, what software u use and any tips are welcome 🙂
Have a great (photographing) weekend!
