Fierce flames arising
Wood quickly turned to ashes
Transcending the earth
2016 started off with a clear night sky. And as the camera was there, i took a few pictures. Blurred the tree in the front a bit to make it resemble fire and tried to enhance the night sky. Still trying to figure out the best way to capture stars, but in the mean time i’m having fun just trying 🙂
And euh.. don’t mind the chromatic aborration 😉
Captured a bit of fireworks last night with my parents cam. Turned out pretty great, thanks to the group of people who lit all those nice fireworks.
Wish you all a great and inspiring 2016 with wisdom to guide you, love to lead you and your heart to be open and flowering. Basically, enjoy your life! 😀
As i posted yesterday’s post, i suddenly had an insight how to enhance the effect of the flowers by changing the colors of the background to a firelike red color. So i like to show this one too, if you want to compare check yesterday’s post Flowered Fire-Cat.
A bit double, but i like the result so i thought i should share it here 🙂 And this happens to be post 911 lol. Bring in the fire brigade!
A few pictures from August this year, when there there were celebrations in my hometown. We have a parade with all kinds of big and small vehicles made of flowers, and these two pictures are details from one of the larger ones. Bright light as you can see, but nonetheless i think they show how the front of the wagon looks 🙂
Wonderful sighting.. the late sunlight in the back as reflected on this marram panicle (if its the correct word lol). The plant is called Sword grass (yet another guess :)). Lovely to play with these abstractions. So here are two more abstract pictures, one more from the Sword grass and one is from cane lying in the water.
Have a great last day of the year! See you all in 2015, thanks for the visit!
I’m noticing more and more that i like the abstract. Perhaps it has to do with me still learning the camera and that the pictures sometimes lack 100% sharpness, i don’t know. But actually it doesn’t matter, cause i really like the editing process. Playing around with the colors, saturation etc almost feels like painting 🙂
This picture is a deliberate unsharp picture from orange moss i took yesterday. And i must say that i like the result, so as always i’m curious what you think 🙂
