Frost and a new lens

Frosty Hydrangea Frosty Hydrangea2

Thanks to my parents i now have a new lens in my collection. I don’t know yet which lens it is. It is an analog lens which doesn’t exactly fit to the Canon Eos 400D. But it is a bit smaller, so i can still use it. i just put it in front of the mirror and make images. It has a macro function which im already in love with after just a few shots! Bokehlicious and such sharpness!

So now im trying to find out if there is an extension or anything which i can use to connect this lens to the Canon. So far no luck, but im sure there is something out there. And otherwise i’ll just use my own little way. Bit unhandy, but at least i can use the lens 🙂

Like to share these 2 images i made today of frost on the Hydrangea. Beautiful sight with the light touching parts of the leaves covered in frost.

Bee happy

This bee was very much interested in the Geraniums blossoming in the backyard. Luckily i had the telelens on the camera, so as to take some nice macro pictures. This is one of them and it’s always great to see small things like flowers and insects really come alive in large!

One of the reasons i wanted a telelens with my camera, was my conviction that it would be nice and fun to photograph birds. Little did i know a year ago lol.. only now i’m starting to understand the camera, but well.. some things just take time. Yesterday i took some pictures while doing work at the children’s farm and today i went on a (electric lol) bicycle ride with my mom and we’ve seen a lot today. This is a small selection of what the camera caught for me and you!

Stones and the Flow

Today i went back to a place i wanted to visit for quite some time now. Made some pictures at this location before, but back then i didnt spot these stones in the ditch. But while i was passing by a few weeks ago, i spotted it. So i went back, put my camera with tripod in the water while i was balancing on both sides of the ditch. These are some of the pictures i took. Too bad we don’t have big waterfalls around, i’d probably be there every single day lol 🙂
