The Bell Tower

[..], as one of the best expert on Medieval architecture of Dalmatia, T.G. Jackson was hired to complete the construction of the bell tower of the Romanesque cathedral of St Anastasia in Zadar. The bell tower was finished in December 1893, and it is his only architectural work in Croatia. Otherwise, ground floor and first floor of the bell tower were built in 1452 (during Archbishop Vallaresso), while the upper floors were built from 1890 to 1894 by English architect and art historian Sir Thomas Graham Jackson, based on the model of the bell tower of the cathedral in Rab.[..]

Paklenica showing its beauty

A steep road brought us to this place, close to Paklenica National park and close to the coast in Croatia. Really intense ride up, but this view was well worth it πŸ™‚

Played with this panorama. In reality the mountains are not as steep as on this picture, but by change i saw the mountains being stretched because of incompatibility between my phone and a certain website. So tried to recreate this effect using Lightroom.. pretty funny to do and like the result a lot πŸ™‚

Last year in September we enjoyed our last day in Croatia with a dinner at the beach close to Split. Had my camera with me and shot this panoram of the beautiful sunset
