Mostly photography, with the occasional philosophical contemplation

The Flower Dance

Today i’ve wandered through the forest, seen and heard many birds.. came back home full of experiences and photographs

The interesting thing about all these experiences was that earlier today i was reading a book by Lama Tsongkhapa in which he describes how much we’re attached to our senses.. and indeed, in the forest i was constantly on the watch for sights and sounds. Perhaps that’s the downside for me of taking the camera with me. Or better said, it’s a lesson for me. First relax the mind, eyes and ears and then engage with the forest, connect with it without wanting to grasp at certain experiences (like seeing a kingfisher or a squirrel)

So today ended up being both rewarding in terms of photographs and in applying wisdom..

A Gallery full of Tulips

The tulips on the table are pretty amazing. Great for playing with the camera. Made a random selection, still got some editing to do. But couldn’t resist to sendย  you all some flowers as the weekend starts.
Wish you all a lovely weekend!

World Full of Clouds

Can’t resist posting another image by my parents and enhanced a bit by me. Last year there were these strangely shaped clouds. I only heard about them on the news, but my parents saw them and used the new camera to catch the phenomena on camera. The upper picture is upside down but i think it looks amazing. I’m no cloud-o-logic but these are pretty rare and wonderful strange clouds no doubt ๐Ÿ™‚

Below is the original image, if you don’t want to wreck your neck too much ๐Ÿ˜‰

have a lovely weekend all!
Blessing to you ๐Ÿ™‚

Moving Moon

Moving Moon2

I can see the moon
Reflecting in the nightsky
Daylight of the sun

The moon is bright at the moment. And when i couldnt get any nice pictures of the surface of the moon, i decided to play with the light instead. It’s called ICM (intentional camera movement), but to me it’s just fun to play with the camera and the light.

What do you think? ๐Ÿ™‚
