Rotterdam with the Erasmusbridge on the left and the Rotterdammer tower in the middle. Used a fence to give an extra dimension to the image 🙂
In the Bay of Islands in New Zealand, back in 2008 during a boat trip. Today got two versions, one in black & white and one in color.
Wish you all a wonderful peaceful weekend!
Father and son going out fishing at sunset, while we would stay behind and enjoy the view 🙂
Listening to sounds of silence
Endless clouds drifting by
As we sail the ocean of life
May we never forget to wonder
Slowly dying sunset
Slowly the sun glided over the water on its way across the horizon, underway shedding off light. The waves slowed down as they settled for the night.
The boats enjoyed the calmness of the evening and anchored their stay. As the sun touched the mountain, a path of light came my way. As my feet stood in the sand, my eyes gazed upon the sky. At this precious moment no need to wonder why. Appreciating that nothing lasts forever, the beauty lies in accepting death like its now, not never. Life has meaning in every moment met, just like a slowly dying sunset.
As i promised yesterday, this post is the original for Abstract Sky. It is a picture of the old warf building for Dutch travelers going to America, hence the name Holland Amerika Lijn (lijn is Dutch for line). It now serves as a hotel and it is very nice indeed to see this old building in between the giant cruise ships and the two towers surrounding this famous building.
Can you recognize the pattern from Abstract Sky? I can’t actually, but it’s probably part of the sky hehe
One of the many castles in Scotland, this is actually only one of two we visited while on holiday. The other being Edinburgh Castle.
This castle is located on the nort-west part of the Isle of Skye and the view was amazing. And the castle gardens are beautiful too!
btw, there is a strange orangy coastline all along the island and it’s also visible here on the second photograph. Guess it’s some kind of kelp 🙂
