A youngster Redtail spend some time in the garden yesterday, while his/her parents were busy getting the food ready. Gave me the opportunity to get some nice closeup shots like this one

Monochrome Madness: The Bird’s Beak

Blackbirds
These two Blackbirds were very easy to approach. They didn´t hide when i got close to them. As the lady Blackbird went into the bushes it might very well be, they have a nest in the front garden. That would be interesting 🙂

European Pied Flycatcher
Spotted and photographed this female European pied flycatcher at the childrens farm. Lovely little bird! Also spotted the male bird, but the photographs didn’t work out that well 🙂

Beautiful Bee-Eater
An old picture from 2010 deserved a little re-edit. Did a new crop and tried to minimize the bright spots on the wing. Hope you like it. Have a nice weekend!
