Mostly photography, with the occasional philosophical contemplation

Painting a Waterfall

Creative Commons License

This is an edited version of a waterfall at Milford Sound in New Zealand, with the zoom full on the waterfall. I used my Canon Powershot 470, my first camera (sweet memories lol)

Most of the time i apply a little bit of post-editing, to increase the contrast or make the photograph a bit lighter. With this picture i’m not really sure what i did, but it felt a bit like painting. The original image was a bit dull imo, but i felt i could create something out of it. This is the result. Let me know what you think!

And since it’s almost one year since i’ve started this blog, i’m gonna try and post my 10 favorite pictures from this blog. Perhaps i think of something for you to add as well. As always, i’m glad you guys come here and i truely hope you enjoy the blog just as much as i enjoy creating this blog!

  1. I love it! It looks soft. I want to touch it!
